Earlier this month Benjamin Moore announced October Mist (CC-550) as the color of the year for 2022. They describe the color as;
“Evocative of the stem of a flower, this gently shaded sage anchor and uplifts”
Benjamin Moore

This choice reinforces that green is having its moment. October Mist was chosen as the color of the year from the color trends palette for 2022. This palette includes a range of 14 colors varying from whimsical, meditative and eclectic. But, one overarching theme of the color palettes is the strong prominence of green.
While October Mist is a mid-tone within the palette 2022s color palette also offers deep tones such as Gloucester Sage and lighter tones like Morning Dew. These colors all offer a versatile and natural element for your space and can be incorporated into almost any room.
Green hues are known for being a relatable color that everyone has a connection with. In color psychology green can produce strong emotions and associations with nature.
This can produce positive emotional responses. Such as feelings of growth, abundance, refreshment, peace and security.
With so many shades and hues it provides an extremely flexible color and can act as a neutral to replace the greys and whites that have been very present in recent years. That is why this year we will be going green with our color choices and bringing in more natural elements into our spaces.

Bringing green into your space
While we love this color and can see it used in many spaces, a simple solution to incorporate these trendy green hues into your space is through furniture and room accessories. That is why we have looked around and selected some of our favorite pieces in the color palette of 2022.
